ANNOTATION:
Selfpreservation issues

The system "human" includes some subsystems called "instincts" in order to preserve the physical existence of the system. During the system transition to the "super-brain", the control system may limit the freedom of his subsystems in order to achieve higher freedom level for the whole system. Thus, the system transition may result to a system unable to preserve his physical existence. We may expect an evolution process, where many system transitions to "super-brains" will be needed before a stable, able to self-preserve system comes up.

This process may be even more delayed if we think about what the impact of the "death" of the "super-brain" on his subsystems will be.

I would like to hear some comments about this issue - has it been discussed before, and if yes are there any pointers to related documents ?

REPLY: sequential "testing out" of good desighns

I think you are correct to believe that there will be a sequence of mst in the development of any complex structure. This continues the trajectory of history. Post-historical implies an MST at a whole scale such as a globe, at which point this new entitiy makes artifice at a new scale, and thus a new scale of MST..as when the world organism begins to design planets. regards, Hilary
