Principia Cybernetica Web

ANNOTATION:
denial of truth

If it is really true that there are no absolute truths,
what is the purpose of this web page? It is presented as a
detailed world view, with thoughts or statements linked to
further clarifications. It is as though there is an inner core
of ultimate truths or first causes which you can find if you click
on enough hyper-links. The answers are all there, supposedly. But
then the article on truth is totally relativistic. In philosophy,
isn't it necessary to make an assertion that there IS some truth,
in order to look for it? Even if it is "sheer self-deception," how
is it possible to write anything (even that there are no absolute
truths) without assuming that there is a truth somewhere?

The fact that all this information is on a web page*, as well as the statement that there is no absolute truth despite the web page's presentation as an outlined and detailed world view, calls into question its validity.

*Specifically, I mean that the web has all kinds of information on it which is presented as truth but is often totally false-- which sets a trap for anyone looking for truth (about term papers or deep philosophical questions or another person even) online.
