ANNOTATION:
Relation of Powers to Principia Cybernetica?

I am fairly familiar with Powers' Perceptual Control Theory (PCT).  
Indeed, his paper on the evolution of life is what led me to 
Principia Cybernetica (I regard that paper as Powers' most
interesting piece).  I would be interested in knowing more
 about the relationship between PCT and the Principia Cybernetica 
project, both in terms of human relationships (are Powers and 
Turchin, et. al., friendly?) and in terms of 
conceptual differences that are regarded as significant by the
Principia Cybernetica leaders (or by PCT theorists).
