As we research and learn about our new information-rich environment, it has become increasingly important to understand how information flows through a human system. Traditional research tools defy the complexities and chaos of information. At yet, those with sensitivities to subtle realms, or liminal spaces, are very aware of being informed by the subtle body of the system. Further, awareness of the interconnectedness within these cultural subsystems provides a qualitatively different access to emergent processes that are very useful for working within and informing organizations of people. The Integral Field, is the subtle body of a complex system such as a couple, family, group, or an organization, etc. The Integral Field is a complex systems theory adapted from field theories that consider information to be a prime ingredient of structure and process. It is informed by pioneering work in organizational development, complex systems theory, theories of chaos, and transformative learning.
The Integral Field: The subtle body of a complex human system site is dedicated to sharing information about new concepts, paradigms and research methods that explore subtle realms of human systems. These include research into liminal space and liminal processes, use of intuition, and other intuitive structures such as synchronicity, performative texts that provide readers felt experiences of Integral Fields, and Trans-Structural Methodologies.
