ANNOTATION:
Metaphysics for beginners

I am 17 years old and very interested in metaphysics. Although everytime i find a piece of writing on it, its too hard for me to understand. Think about writing something to explain metaphysics to the "extreme beginner." Even people that don't know a lot about religion/phylosiphy may find this useful. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Jennifer

Dear J ,have you considered reading the Dr tuesday lobsang rampa books they are based upon tibetan life and their metaphysicle theories. Well worth the time. and most of the theory is based upon lay physics.

im 15, and im doing philosophy as one of my subjects this year. we are currently finishing up on metaphysics. If what you are reading doesnt make sense, and you are very interested in it, read it over and think about it more and if you dont understan some of the words or anything, use a thesaurus or something to help explain them. I have to say, the stuff we have read is pretty easy to understand, or maybe i can just understand it better. Anyway, i hope you figure something out. sorry i wasnt very helpful. byeeee.

yeh, its me again. Here is some stuff i have that might be helpful:

Metaphysics refers to the branch of philosophy that attemps to understand the
fundamental nature of all reality, whether visible or invisible. It seeks a description
so basic that it applies to everything, whether divine or human or anything else. It
attempts to tell what anything must be like in order to be at all.

Some questions of metaphysics are:
what kinds of entities really exist?
do properties exist?
are there possible, but non actual things?
can we talk of things existing as ideas?
or do only physical particles exist?

well thats just some of the stuff that i think abotu metaphysics. the description is
fairly basic and similiar whichever way you want to take it. its basically the way that
people perceive things.
