If one looks into the working of any computer, it comes alive in order to process anything, only so long as it remains nergized.
The electricity flowing in different uninterrupted paths so long as such paths are not corrupted or blocked or open-circuited, does all this. However, the "intelligent" principle is is only limited as programmed by another intelligent person, like one of us.
On the other hand, if one may equate the human apparatus consisting of a body (screen displaying actions and emotions)
and the CPU (Mind - a virtual process center), it gets energized at its coception and remains energized and the "intelligent" principle witnesses everything that goes on inside even at the molecular level , thus stopping bleeding or healing wounds,, or keeping the cell counts,etc However, if any path inside gets corrupted or blocked or open/short-circuited, the body or mind may get diceased.
Hence, "consciousness" may be looked upon as the energizing principle which is also intelligent as well as the "witnessing" entity,therein.
One can eliminate the different directions/redirections involved in the internal processing of such a biological human computer, by categorizin"Space" (due to the awareness of Body and looking upon othe such bodies seperated from it ) and the "MInd" (Subsequent movement in such virtual space).
Deep down, the ONLY reality is that the energy keeps flowing into the human apparatus even if it gets diceased or gets corrupted leading to its illness such as coma,cancer,etc.., at least mantaining the basic mode of eating/waste removal,etc..
However, one gets impressed by the activities and happenings appearing on a giant virtual screen owing to one's virtual notions
called "Space" and "Time", as if getting engrossed on the surface waves at the sea shore, without getting near the center point at the very depth of the ocean which made such infinye waves come into being. Life seems to be about getting to know the TRUTH of this single point-infinity connection, somehow.
This is possible only if the falsehood of our infinite notons of every kind be rejected and the processing by our notional/virtual mind to be stopped, in order to perceive only the reality which is that "We are alive".
Thus, unless such "Subjectivity" can be incorporated in science, which tends to get caught in its objective outlook "Consciousness" may never be comprehended!
