Freedom as a Tool

Freedom.

A tool, just like any other tool.

Can be used for good or bad.

Most people don't think about the bad side.  Freedom is good, 
period.  To be striven for regardless?

But freedom can become cancerous.

Enabling an uncontrolled linear one-way path to extinction.

Systems typically use uncontrolled growth to populate an area, 
but once achieved, a metasystem transition must arise which 
stops that growth, or else the metasystem dies.

A delicate balancing act between the anarchy of complete freedom 
and the stodgy control of governments such as entrenched 
socialism must be had.

But just try to tell Mr./Ms. Average American that freedom is 
anything but 100 ood.

Nowadays you'll be told to leave the country.

As they say, higher levels of consciousness must arise.
