ANNOTATION:
Potpourri of thoughts on various topics, meandering

I do not know that any of these thoughts refute or agree with what has gone before. i know only my response and the impression my readings and experiences grant me. So many comments, so little time. Appreciate the abundance of food for thought. How do less literate individuals learn such material? (Just a thought)

In rejection of God as the source of a value system: to a certain extent i agree ( i subscribe to no particular god based system and yet would not name myself among atheists). But health of the result that what is is good depends entirely on perspective. Does the individual subscribing to that conviction have a healthy interaction with the consequential feedback of his/her value system, that is learning the evolutionary lessons in the faces of pain, heartbreak, and suffering and using those lessons as a stepping stone to enlightenment and experience. Or does the individual sacrifice free will and ambition to suspend themselves in the powerless tide of accepting whatever burdens and setbacks come their way? Either way, given that one acknowledges his/her power to effect change or does not how can WHAT IS not be good - and note that does not automatically mean perfect, for always is there not some manner in which to grow? If there is not what point exists in it all?Is that not also the point of living: to enjoy what goodness the process of living offers to a maximum? It is simply that some will choose noble means with respect for fellow man and some will not. It is our task always to find goodness and inspiration where none seem to exist. For by nature of definition in complete darkness exists still a shard of light, which is why darkness can be defined thusly to begin with. Digressions galore, i admit my guilt - you can twist with metaphysics and logic any p[henomenon to bend to the will of one's perception. And we all do that. It lends validity and credence to the constructs of thought that make our perception of the world safe, at least in our minds.

How does one who believes in God come to understand the loss of a loved one or the blessing of accomplishment if not that it all must be as the good lord wishes, for his scheme is grander than little old so-and-so. The result is that He has willed it if it has been allowed to happen - so it must be good. Right? (Idunno, i could be wrong, just saying).

Ignorance is bliss. Truly. But this also means that those willing to earn through the suffering elightenment brings shall reap its rewards with a better understanding and capability to conceptualise the relationship among things in our world, be they people, elements, energy.

And the technical references are wonderful if you happen to be an egomaniac, anxious to parade the quantity of your schooling or grade of your certificate. I can humbly admit that perhaps i know absolutely nothing of the discussions that go on in this forum. The more you know the more you realise how little you know. the more you learn, the more you realise how much more there is to learn.

But does one need a formal education to see that it doesn't matter whether Kant was an alleged consequentialist or not? Forgive the primitive nature of my language that i am not learned of a like glossary: All, i repeat ALL choices are actions, be they active or passive, internal or external,( and all are indicative of value system based judgements) - and as such portend that a consequence exists. I don't care who you are, god, elemental, spirit form, physical being, human - nothing and no one is exempt from this eventuality. Indeed this is part of the process of evolution. Based on the choices we make, we receive feedback that either gratifies us or disappoints us, and continue to make our decisions based on this feedback until in a manner of speaking we get it right, that is, the desired results are obtained.

Evolution is one of the factors that effects value systems, but so also is anything that an individual looks towards for guidance.

And i believe that is the largest drawback that mankind subscribes to. Looking to WHAT IS in this world of ours, looking to history and the documentable as the limits within which we are sentenced to live our lives.

What about living the life you want, the life you dream of and setting your own precedent. There are no boundaries or limit save the ones that each individual is willing to accept. And in all of my attempted objectivity and fairness i risk utilising this document as a forum for my own preachings:

It all comes down to love. It all dwindles down into the character of the people we choose to be surrounded by and share that love with. A millionare can be destitute without that support system surounding him/her. What does all of the money in the world mean if there are not those you love to share it with and make the experience of spending fulfilling, just as a pauper can be the richest in the world and have no spare dime because of the fulfillment that comes of fun and loving company. Money is a tool and nothing more, just like any other possession. Love is the single greatest force that ever existed, and without ranting on as i know i can without breath for an eternity, if you doubt that statement apply it in every and all situations and see if your results prove me wrong. With of course the understanding that love means love for yourself above all, because what love could you promote in the world if you sacrificed your own contribution of it for its measly name?

And why would you want to live in any other world, but one where you see love all around you and in everyone you see. There are walls that must come down and rivers of tears that should drown us all. But it is time that painful, and hateful ways were released. If we don't beleive we can make the future better for ourselves, why grant any room in our mind for the presence of ambition.

Knowledge does give us a foundation upon which we make our choices, how would you feel if you had the knowledge that you could do anything you wanted?
