Evolution not a Compelling Source of Values

First of all, I think your use of Kant here is mistaken. Kant was certainly not concerned with the stability of systems. That would have made him a consequentialist, which is was not.

Second, while I think that an understanding of evolutionary mechanisms is important, I don't see why you claim that "must be consistent with evolution

and natural selection." Let me play the skeptic: why should *I* care what hapens to the species? An understanding of psychological and cultural evolution can help us understand what sorts of moral rules will survive in a diverse population, but evolution itself cannot tell us which things to value.
