Hi, I like your purpose and I believe you launch on track. You ultimately fall into at least three traps that commonly result from emphasizing ourselves.
ONE
The overwhelming fact of christians and in fact all communities based on stipulation of a common personal belief system is the need to maintain independent and separate identity. Thus, rather than as a drop back to the ocean the christian's concious state continues as a discreet entity on a first name basis after death. If not heaven then "I" will go to hell. Even this terrible product of human imaginings is preferable to conciousnesses co-mingling or the utter end of me.
Combined with the delusion that's humans can be set aside from other mammals not just for a relatively enhanced cognitive capacity, vocal cords, and opposable thumbs, but by an order of magnitude difference in self awareness, intelligence, and affection and your belief system is grossly self-absorbed and egotistical. It shouldn't be that difficult to accept the notion that lacking any discreet unique components that humans possess no truely unique experiential processes not shared by all mammals and are therefore no more important. Once we understand this we begin to understrand that we are not more important than rocks either. Probably, where there is molecular motion, there is conciousness.
TWO
Ever since we corrected eyesight allowing people with poor eyesight to survive to breed we have no longer been following Darwinian evolution. Now that even diabetics survive to breed we are in fact clearly becoming on the whole, less fit. In addition, fundamentalist thinkers be they eastern or western procreate at a rate 5 times that of progressive thoughful independent thinkers such as yourself. I believe you tend to foundationalize your theories of our existence in biological evolution.
THREE
Regarding good and evil, there is no good, there is no evil, there just is. No right or wrong, there simply is.So Clinton was correct that it depends on what is is. A corallary to this is that he/she didn't hurt you, you just hurt.

P.S. to the dude and his bible. Who gave those guys exclusive access to the burning bush. The only truth we can know is the truth within our own heart. It may be a lot of responsibility but unless you purposefully seek truth within yourself, you can not know it. You certainly can't read it in a book.
