The Overman has his day
Equally disturbing is the fact that there are lots of power-mad Nietzscheans out there who will have a field day with all this talk of 'fitness' being the greatest virtue, the end toward itself. Freddy N. was always harping on about how the fittest member of the species was THE POINT, for whose benefit the entire process of evolution existed. Now I'm not saying I've always been a saint to my pets day in, day out, but they can expect far better from me on my worst day than I could from the next step up the ladder gone wrong, which would see me as nothing more than a single-shelled organism.
