ANNOTATION: in defense of absolute truth
If we define truth as an accurate prediction of how a given system
will behave under a given set of circumstances (such as our
attempts to manipulate it), then there must be an absolute truth--
the system of interest WILL behave in a certain way under a given
set of circumstances, and that seems to be absolute truth.
