What's above cybernetics? (correction)
So we have cybernetics and its quantum of evolution, the metasystem transition (MST). Will cybernetics itself evolve, or is it fixed at the top of the hierarchy? Something fascinating happens once anything in the Universe can be defined as a system. In some hard to explain way it is looking at everything in this systems manner which will expand the potential of human achievement almost limitlessly. And by making the definition in that manner nothing can outrank cybernetics. If I claim System X does, then System X is declared to just be another system to be hung on the framework of cybernetics.
Are we destined to populate the Universe with ourselves at a dizzying level of complexity? This is the road that intelligence leads us down, with no end in sight. The genie’s out of the bottle, and now all we can do is ride the runaway train.
