Breakdown of Values
Your much praised "Breakdown of Values" is really a mass return to paganism, with all it's demonism, adultery, fornication, and mental madness. In value system terms the western world is committing suicide. All the good things wrought in western civilization spring from Judeo-Christian roots. Ideologies like Nazism, Humanism and Communism had one major goal: the desctruction of the Jedeo-Christian root. In this sense they were "anti-Christ". The results are there for everyone to see, but due to the confusion wrought by excessive sin (ideologies, sexual, drunkenness, hatred of men and God etc.), most men are not able to see the far superior lifestyle inherent in the Judeo-Christian heritage/value-system.
You say that illicit sex poses no danger to society. What people of old feared was the destruction of family life with all it's concomitant delinquency, immorality etc. Kids from broken marriages are most likely to suffer the same or live immoral lives. The resulting damage to the souls of men is enormous and your very lighthanded approach reveals your blindedness.
Who cares for all the broken hearts? Since no-one can help (certainly not you!!!!) most of those who have heartache take drugs, engage in more immoral behaviour etc., thus heaping sin upon themselves, and lead meaningless lives unto destruction.
No, your much appraised post-modern world is really just another pagan world which we had before the clarity and sense and enlightenment of Judeo-Christian thinking set the western world free from it's fear and meaninglesness.
Yes, we're drifting of there again thanks to people like yourselves, but some of us know about the freedom inherent in the Judeo-Christian value system and find all the important answers there. Many of your apparently "unanswerable" questions are a RESULT of a pagan way of thinking, and have only come about because the West has discarded the order and sanity of Judeo-Christian values.
