as an English newcomer to belgium who has lived in France and Holland, I expected Belgium to be a mix of the 2 cultures and natures. Of course it is not. I found the essay interesting and informative as weel as positive about my new home. So much said about Belgians and Belgium in England, Holland and France is mocking and derogatory it is ridiculous. Most of them have never been here!! Who cares....
